Falcon Meadow is manaaged for nature and attempting to restore some of the wildflower species, which have been lost, to  support a wide array of pollinators and other wildlife.  To accelerator the process we have been offered the rare opportunity to inoculate our meadow with species rich seed hay from the Millennium Green, Halesworth. Millennium Green is a community managed meadow on the River Blyth with a variety of wetland species such as ragged robin, marsh orchid, yellow rattle, meadow sweet and cuckoo flower. To succeed the cutting and spreading of hay must take place on the same day. We would like volunteers to help with the following: Please join us on Falcon Meadow: Sat 10th Aug 9 am - 11 am cutting and raking to prepare the site Sun 11th Aug 9 am - 11 am cutting and raking to prepare the site and at Millennium Green:  Weds 14th Aug 9 am - 11 am to rake and transport green hay Please feel free to drop in anytime throughout the morning.
