Water Quality Sampling - Volunteers Needed Bungay Area

Can you help? 

RWT is at an exciting stage in the development of its latest project – Working towards the submission of designated bathing water status at Falcon Meadow.  For this to happen the RWT needs the help of Volunteers to undertake water sampling. 

The minimum commitment is;  

• 2-3 hr training on Saturday 14th January 2023 

• 4-5 hour morning session once or twice a month (to be confirmed), excluding weekends & BH’s 

• Project starts week commencing 16th January 2023 and will run for approximately 10 months 

The role will entail taking water samples, in pairs, from 9 sequential areas along the River Waveney in the Bungay area.  The samples will be professionally examined for bacteria/coliforms and other pollutants.
