We are taking part in a project - Preventing Plastic Pollution - looking at how plastic finds its way into rivers and eventually out into oceans.
Help us to collect litter, identify litter hotspots and look at ways we can tackle plastic pollution locallly, whilst gathering data that contributes to a better understanding globally.
We've got plenty of litter pickers, bags, bag hoops and gloves.
We would love you to join us, it's a perfect opportunity to get out for a winter walk and chat with a friendly bunch of people and make this part of the Waveney catchment look more beautiful. I'll bring flasks of hot water, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits! (and hand sanitiser)
We meet at 10.30am
(following on from a quick 10am meeting with local parish councils to look at installing public bins)
The weather is set to be cold but sunny, if conditions change and it's no longer safe to be by the river, the event will be rescheduled.
Look forward to seeing you there
