Survey ahead of EA intervention they have planned for w/c 5th December
Please park on Water Mill Lane, Hoxne. The exact location is marked on the map
What to expect:
We will work from boats on the river most of the day, and you may be required to portage around obstructions.
What to bring:
Your kayak/canoe
Always carry a mobile phone, and wear a lifejacket/buoyancy aid
A hot drink, water and a packed lunch.
Please dress for kayaking. Manmade fibres are preferable as they tend to be lightweight and dry more quickly.
In cold weather, consideration should be given to wearing;
• base layers
• hats, buffs/neck warmers, poggies or neoprene gloves
• wetsuits
• dry suits
• spray decks and cags
A dry bag with spare clothes is required.
