Litter Pick Diss - Preventing Plastic Pollution

We will be picking litter along riverside locations in Diss, joining up with the wonderful Diss Litter Picking Volunteer group.

Between us we've got plenty of litter pickers, bags and gloves so no extra equipment needed.

When plastic finds its way into rivers it causes harm to wildlife through entanglement and is mistaken for food leading to poor health and premature death. Most of this plastic will eventually end up in the ocean causing harm to marine life.

Come and help us collect litter and gather data about what we find, help us indentify litter hotspots and look at ways in which we can tackle the plastic pollution problem.
