Inspired by the Waveney's flood meadows, grazing cattle, stunning sunsets, and beautiful wildlife, textile artist Abigail Mill, brings this imagery to life with her evocative embroidery. Her style is distinctive; a combination of layered hand dyed printed cottons and free motion machine embroidery create rich and varied textile landscapes. Abigail will be giving a talk about her return to her childhood roots in the Waveney Valley, it's subsequent flooding, the setting up of Redenhall Flood Group and her adventures along the way.
" Abigail has captured the essence of the Waveney Valley in a rarely seen and highly accomplished kaleidoscope of embroidery"
Geoff Doggett, founder of the River Waveney Trust.
