FREE Family event celebrating tradition, wildlife and the River Waveney at beautiful Falcon Meadow.
Children's activities for all ages including - minibeast hunt, pond dipping, crafts, mucky play, microscopy and the Broads Authority aquatic wonders.
10am -12pm children can be booked in to stay at Eathwake Wildlife Club - pre booking essential as spaces limited contact lornaearthwake@gmail.com (for 9-14yr olds)
Scything Workshop - try scything or pick up a rake to help the Falcon Meadow Community Trust restore wildflowers
10.30 - 11am Wildflower Walk with local expert Dorothy Casey
11 - 11.30am and 2 - 2.30pm Special Guest Richard Brown, expert ecologist and meadows fanatic will discuss creation and restoration of meadow and biodiversity.
Delicious food and drinks, including Parravanis ice-creams speciality coffee, will be available from Bigod’s Kitchen and Hope Coffee Company, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options will be available.
This FREE family fun day is a great way to celebrate the River Waveney and Falcon Meadow.
